Hello, I’m Lizzy Sutherland, a Colorado Springs-based Catholic artist.

While taking art classes in college, I discovered a tremendous joy in creating, but also wrestled with the place creativity is meant to have in our lives and the vocation of the artist in the modern world. One thesis and many, many pots later, I’ve come a little closer to an answer: to authentically create is to love. And therefore, authentic art is a reminder of the Love that animates all of life.

This little studio is my attempt to share something of that truth by crafting simple, beautiful ceramics for everyday life.
